HANACHA STUDIO SPRING SUMMER 2023 titled “Documenta 1: Composition in basic forms : Square, Circle, Triangle, Star” is to find the simplified yet fundamental form in combination to produce a creative imagination.
Previously “Point, Line, Plane series has been dealt with and in terms of the extension of this idea, Spring Summer 2023 has more a focal point of geometry shapes which are circular, square, triangle, spiral developed by means of exercise.
Digging into this concept, the book titled “Design and form” written by Johannes Itten who was a painter, designer, teacher, writer and theorist associated with the Bauhaus has referred. Geometric language and figurative combination of this book manipulated and reinterpreted to the collection.
2023년 봄 여름 컬렉션의 타이틀은 Documenta 1: Composition in basic forms(도큐멘타 1: 구성적 형태)이다.
이전 컬렉션은 조형적 단순화 과정을 거친 해체된 형태로서의 점, 선, 면으로 이루어졌다면, 이번 시즌에는 입방체로 넘어와 사각, 원형, 원기둥, 나선형, 별형 등 기초 도형을 기하학적으로 구성한 컬렉션이다. 제목의 도큐멘타(Documenta)는 한 시즌에 거친 컨셉이 아닌 지속적으로 이어지는 주제 아래 작품들이 펼쳐진다는 맥락에서 아카이브적 컬렉션이라는 의미를 부여하기 위해 붙여진 타이틀이다.
바우하우스의 조형 교육을 담당한 요하네스 이텐(Johannes Itten)의 디자인 교육 이념과 구성 체계가 담긴 ‘Design and form’이라는 책의 내용인 조형 언어들을 연구하고 절제된 형태에 어우러지는 구성적 기초 도형을 의상에 접목하여 컬렉션으로 표현하였다.
